Can You Use One Virtual Card for Multiple AI Subscriptions? ChatGPT, Claude, Grok and Cursor on One Card, Why the Second Charge Gets Declined, How Much Balance to Keep, and Real Data from Our Cards (USDT / USDC) — 2026

Yes, one prepaid virtual card can pay ChatGPT Plus, Claude Pro, Grok, Cursor and the OpenAI API at the same time; the card does not limit how many subscriptions you add, only whether the balance covers each charge. The catch is a shared balance: when two billing dates are close, the second charge is often declined. How to line up billing dates, a simple formula for the balance, when a separate card is better, and real data from our own cards: of 221 cards with successful charges in 90 days, 50 paid two or more different services. Pay for the card with USDT or USDC. Updated October 2026.

Short answer: yes. A prepaid virtual card does not limit how many subscriptions you put on it; each charge simply needs enough balance at that moment. On our own cards, ChatGPT Plus with the OpenAI API, ChatGPT with Grok, and Claude with the OpenAI API have all been charged successfully on the same card. One card saves the issuance fee and a monthly card fee per extra card. The trade-off is one shared balance: if two services bill within a few days of each other, the first charge goes through and the second is often declined for insufficient balance. So write down each billing date and keep enough for every bill due in the next 30 days.

Written by the Pink Card team (pinkcard.cc). The data covers charges on our own cards from 2026-07-22 to 2026-10-20. Billing rules of each AI service are set by that service; check its help center and billing page. Pink Card fees are those shown on the purchase page on 2026-10-20. Pink Card is not affiliated with any of the services mentioned.

What we see on our own cards

In the last 90 days, 221 of our cards had at least one successful charge. 50 of them (about 23%) paid two or more different services: 34 cards paid 2, 8 paid 3, 3 paid 4, 3 paid 5 and 2 paid 7. The most common pairs:

  • ChatGPT Plus plus the OpenAI API or ChatGPT credits: 20 cards
  • ChatGPT Plus plus Grok: 6 cards
  • Claude plus the OpenAI API or credits: 4 cards
  • ChatGPT Plus plus Google One (Gemini): 3 cards
  • ChatGPT Plus plus Claude: 3 cards
  • Claude plus Grok: 2 cards
  • The busiest card was charged successfully by 7 different merchants in 90 days, including ChatGPT, the OpenAI API, Cursor, Figma and Google Cloud.
The cost of overlapping bills: in the same period 352 charges were declined because the remaining balance did not cover them (the issuer reported a cumulative, single-transaction or monthly limit, or insufficient funds). 26 of those came within 3 days after the same card had just paid a different service, on 8 cards. Example: a card paid ChatGPT Plus $20 on September 18; the next day an OpenAI API charge of $15.08 was declined twice, and on September 21 a $20 ChatGPT credits purchase was declined twice more.

Pros and risks of one card for everything

  • Cheaper: Pink Card charges the issuance fee and the $2.50 monthly fee per card, so two subscriptions on one card cost one issuance fee and one monthly fee instead of two.
  • Simpler: one top-up covers every subscription on the card, and the card number does not change, so nothing needs to be re-added.
  • Risk 1, shared balance: billing dates close together, or an API usage charge landing just before a renewal, can leave too little for the next charge.
  • Risk 2, one point of failure: if the card expires or is locked, every subscription on it stops being charged.
  • Risk 3, retries: services retry a failed renewal after a few days, and each declined charge costs $1 (at most 3 declined charges per card per month).

Line up the billing dates

  1. Find each billing date. ChatGPT Plus and Claude Pro both bill monthly on the day you first subscribed, and the date cannot be changed directly.
  2. Put the billing dates of every subscription on the card into your calendar.
  3. If several dates are close (for example all early in the month), load the combined amount before the first one.
  4. Usage-based charges such as the OpenAI API or ChatGPT credits can hit at any time, so do not run the card down to exactly the subscription amount.
  5. Annual plans and large plans (Claude Pro annual, Claude Max) take a big amount at once; a separate card for those is safer.

How much to keep on the card

For the next 30 days, keep: the sum of all bills on the card including tax, plus $1 per charge, plus the $2.50 monthly card fee. When you add a new service, allow about $5 more for the verification hold.

  • ChatGPT Plus $20 and Claude Pro $20 on one card: $40 + $2 in per-transaction fees + $2.50 monthly fee = $44.50 a month. If tax makes each one $21.80, about $48.10.
  • A $110 card covers that for two months, a $220 card for four.
  • One $220 card costs ($220 + $10) × 1.03 = $236.90 to buy; two $110 cards cost $123.60 each, $247.20 in total. That is $10.30 more up front and another $2.50 every month.
  • Topping up $100 later: $5 + ($100 + $5) × 5% = $10.25 in fees, $110.25 in total.

Get a card with USDT or USDC

  1. Open pinkcard.cc/en and choose an amount: presets start at $110 ($110, $220, $500, $1000), or enter a custom amount from $100.
  2. Pay with USDT on BEP-20 (shown as BSC or BNB Smart Chain on most exchanges) or ERC-20, or with USDC on ERC-20. Send exactly the amount shown, on exactly the network you picked.
  3. Enter your email twice. No account and no sign-up are needed.
  4. The card number, expiry, CVV and billing address arrive by email about 1–2 minutes after the payment confirms (check spam).
  5. Add the same card to each service with the billing address from the email, one service at a time, and wait for each to confirm before adding the next.
  6. Top up the same card before the next bills. Top-ups usually arrive within about 30 minutes and the number does not change, so every service keeps billing the same card.

Pink Card fees (as of 2026-10-20)

  • Card issuance: $10 one-time, plus a 3% service fee on (card amount + $10).
  • From the card balance after activation: $1 per transaction and $2.50 per month.
  • Failed authorizations are charged $1 too (at most 3 failed charges per card per month).
  • Top-up of the same card: $5 plus 5% of (top-up amount + $5), minimum top-up $30, usually on the card within about 30 minutes. Full fee table: pinkcard.cc/en/fees.
  • Once the card details are emailed, the order cannot be cancelled, so double-check your email address before paying.

FAQ

How many subscriptions can one virtual card pay?

The card itself has no limit on the number of subscriptions; each charge only needs enough balance. On our cards, the busiest card was charged by 7 different merchants in 90 days.

Can I use the same card for ChatGPT and Claude?

Yes. On our cards, 3 cards paid both ChatGPT Plus and Claude, and 4 paid both Claude and the OpenAI API.

Why was my second subscription declined when the first went through?

Most often the first charge left too little balance for the second. 26 balance declines on our cards came within 3 days after the same card paid a different service. Top up to at least the bill (with tax) plus $1, then retry once.

One card for everything, or one card per subscription?

One card is cheaper: one issuance fee and one $2.50 monthly fee ($236.90 for one $220 card vs $247.20 for two $110 cards). Separate cards keep a failure on one service from affecting the others; use a separate card for annual or large plans.

How much should I keep for two $20 subscriptions?

$40 + $2 per-transaction fees + $2.50 monthly fee = $44.50 a month, more if tax is added. A $110 card covers two months.
